چکیده

Abstract The motive of this study is to analyse the characteristics a novel dual‐stator embedded‐pole six‐phase permanent magnet synchronous motor for application electric vehicles. A comparative analysis two separate topologies, namely, dual stator and single rotor surface‐mounted motor, accomplished illustrate performance superiority proposed motor. Furthermore, optimal designing design methodology has also been presented. For above application, should retain high torque density (HTD) reliability. In regard, H‐Shaped flux barrier introduced in portion, which fulfils requirement HTD. Moreover, availability sets winding enhances efficiency ensures motor's more significant fault‐tolerating ability evaluation, Finite Element Method chosen, as it gives appropriate precise results. From analysis, concluded that HTD dynamic are better than above‐mentioned conventional

Research on Sensorless Control of Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor for Electric Vehicle

Motor speed can’t change suddenly during the operation of motor because of inertia. In the short process of motor being not driven by motor controller, the operation of motor can be thought of as a uniform motion process. Making use of this property, it can be estimated next or next several cycles by measuring previous one or several cycles of motor. So the motor speed can be Figured out accord...

Study on interior permanent magnet synchronous motors for hybrid electric vehicle traction drive application considering permanent magnet type and temperature

Recently, interior permanent magnet synchronous motors (Interior-PMSMs) have become known as a good candidate for hybrid electric vehicle (HEV) traction drive application due to their unique merits. However, the dynamic and steady-state behaviors of these motors are quite dependent on the permanent magnet (PM) type, configuration, and volume in rotor structures. This paper uses a novel structur...

Investigation of a Five-Phase Dual-Rotor Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor Used for Electric Vehicles

This paper presents a novel five-phase permanent magnet synchronous motor (PMSM), which contains dual rotors and a single stator, equivalent to two five-phase motors working together. Thus, this kind of motor has the potential of good fault tolerant capability and high torque density, which makes it appropriate for use in electric vehicles. In view of the different connection types, the inside ...
